Blankney Golf Club was again the venue for Mundys Annual Charity Golf Day. The event was held on Friday, 26th June 2015 and raised funds for Linkage Community Trust, providers of specialist education, care and employment support services to learning disabled people across Lincoln.
Once again the event was well supported by local organisations, club members, Mundys staff and clients and Linkage supporters. The winning team was Agency Signs, with Help Today finishing second and Saul Fairholm third. The event raised in excess of £3,000 for Linkage Community Trust.
Simon Bentley, Senior Partner at Mundys commented:-
“We are delighted with how the event has gone and it is super to be able to raise money for Linkage which is such a brilliant charity. A huge thank you must go to all who have supported and contributed to the day and a special mention of thanks to the event sponsor Sills & Betteridge Solicitors”.
This was the tenth consecutive year that Mundys have hosted a charity golf day, raising in excess of £40,000 for a range of local charities including St Barnabas Hospice, Candles, Strut and Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
Steven Spivey, Partner at Mundys said:-
“We are passionate about our local community and believe that it is important to support local charities, clubs and events where we can. Initially we anticipated our golf day would be a one off event but this is the tenth year. Each year we are blown away by the generosity of all involved.”
