Andrew Harrod (CeMap FPC) has been in the mortgage industry for over 30 years. During this time he has been a manager for a national lender with the authority to approve mortgages. He now provides whole of market mortgage advice and for the past few years has had an office based in our head office on Silver Street, Lincoln.
He will give clear honest advice, which means he finds the right mortgage and protection products to suit your needs. He will ensure you understand the difference between the types of mortgages available and make a recommendation on the most suitable deal for you.
As you would expect, he is fully qualified to advise you. He has passed all the industry standard examinations and also sits annual exams to ensure his knowledge is up to date. He is Data Protection Act and Consumer Credit Licence registered.
Help with budgets
He will help with the budgeting, making sure it all adds up for when you move into your new home. It’s not just the mortgage payments that you have to think about, there are also many other one-off costs that you will need to consider before committing to a purchase. He can provide a budget planner to fit your circumstances.
Whole of Market
Some brokers may be restricted to a limited number of lenders. Andrew provides whole of market mortgage advice. There are lots of different products available and he will use his knowledge of the marketplace to find a product most suited to your circumstances.

He can get you to the stage of knowing that, in principle, a lender will be prepared to help you before you even find a house and, once you have found one, he can assist with the “haggling” to try to secure a good price!
